About Me - Alynne Jeanty

My full name is Alynne (Ali is my nickname) and I was named after my mother, Evelyne. I am pursuing Architectural Engineering with a Structural Engineering Concentration. I love to listen to music, dance, and photograph on my spare time. While I did not come from a STEM background, I chose AE to learn how to integrate practicality into design and create beautiful yet long lasting architecture. 

I think intelligent buildings are automated systems which serve to preserve an interior environment while providing benefits to its users without a constant need for maintenance. These buildings address the environmental and economic needs of their time and serve a greater purpose beyond the realm of a traditional structure.
