Introduction---Qiaodan Lin

Introduction: 

My name is Qiaodan Lin, and I am an Architectural Engineering student with digital building concentration. And I grew up in China till I came to Drexel at 2015. My habit will be playing FPS and MOBA games, and I am so interested in historical architectures. 

During my co-op, I worked at Bentley System Inc.. This is company is mainly developing the BIM software, like Revit, and Auto CAD which related with intelligent buildings. And I was mainly respond for software testing and do some required drawings to find defects on the software. 

Intelligent Buildings: 

Firstly, I think when design the building, all the processes will be displayed in detail with a completed 3-D model. Therefore, users can check the detail design as they wanted.  And after built, all the elements of buildings can be controlled online by a mobile app, like users can use app to turn on or turn off the light and AC when they need. 

The video below is a "great" example of intelligent building.
